I think the rear lights extends further into the side of the body than it seems, someone pointed that out in the previous spy shots. The tail lights will probably start at the front edge of the rear bumper, where it meets the body panel.. hope that makes sense.

What's the engine of this car with the quad exhaust? The bumper doesn't look like an AMG model...Or are those pipes fake? I think it's a bit overkill for a non-AMG model to be honest...

They are probably testing the AMG mechanicals with a standard E-class body. You can see the cars have massive AMG calipers and discs, so I doubt it is a non-AMG model they are testing.

Exactly, look at this pic, notice the form of the side profile?, it is wher the tail lights end, the are so big:

Yupp. It's the AMG but without all the eye candy. I pray that MB will shock us like they did with the C63. The mules were low key but the production car ended up looking menacing.

No one here has noticed that the AMG models are evolving to look like the Black-Series versions. It all started with the C63.. The SL63s` entire kit actually came from the SLK55 Black Series. Can we expect this for future AMG models?? What about the F/L S65 and S63 with a Black Series look.

This could very easily end up being my favourite current Benz. They have stripped away some of the excessive figurative elements seen in all the other recent cars. I only hope the interior is more Dieter Rams and less Martha Stewart than the current model.
