People need to learn the difference between a real photo and an official photo. Clearly is pic is not official at the moment (the car hasn't been revealed yet, DUH), but it will be official in not too long, because we will see this exact same pic again in a brochure or something. This photo is made by MB's press team. It just looks crappy now because it is leaked/scanned/taken a photo of a photo.

The E-class is leaked and the A8 is leaked.

Wrong. Keep thinking that. This isn't a "scanned" photo either. The car's proportions looks a mess especially up front. This is a "or something" photo, again what someone thinks the E will look like. You and some others are going to have to learn to look at the car itself and quit worrying about declaring photos as leaks. The car in this picture looks an unbalanced mess with FWD proportions and all.

I think the car shape is really too boxy, you can argue that they want to go back into the pre-W124 days or something but we are in year 2008, not the 90s, the roofline down to the tunk behind the A-pillar is ancient. I guess its size together with the side profile may help it look modern. As to the rear lights, the only thing that makes it look like a MB is because of the badge..

No what I think I need to do is wait for the first official photo early next year. The red car is very close, but it isn't a leak or scan of an official photo like some are trying to say. The car is too unbalanced and the front wheels are placed like they're on a FWD car. I'll wait for the real thing thank you.
