Well, if they wanted publicity then why didn't the car drive a few rounds on the stage in front of the internatinal press? Why do a four second quick "presentation" of the heavily camoed front that 99,9 % of the show crowd never even noticed? Or why not a teaser video like the ones about the X6 for example?

because this is the beginning of the build up..... the new E class is atleast a year away right...... its time for the slow drip to begin...

We've seen dozens of pictures of E-Class prototypes so if they only wanted to show it for 4 seconds I would have expected it to have less camo... Not very good implementation if you ask me.

What kind of a stupid theory is that btw? Wasn't that whole Lexus thing a copy to begin with? How can the E class be a copy while it's an evolution of classic design?

God, I am so glad that POS Lexus chose MB over BMW to copy like crazy. That's a worry less for the Bimmer fans!

I know this isn't much to go off of, but I truly like the stance of the car in this pic. Makes it look quite bold.

Well at one time various online magazines and what not were saying that the next E would look like the Lexus GS upfront, but thanks to some brilliant observation by one of our members here we can pretty much say that isn't going to be the case. The E appears to have the same headlamp treatment as the F700 concept, nothing like the GS....which was a ripoff of the original W210 E in the first place.
