| Re: 2009 E-Class (spy pics & details) First Mercedes does a body-color strip over the rear lights on the S and now on the headlights on the E. Pretty slick I think. There goes that BS Lexus GS look-a-like theory! M

Thanks F700 we know the E-Class will be mind-blowing, unlike some blank cars made by certain soulless brand...  |

| Re: 2009 E-Class (spy pics & details) GASP, THEY REALLY DID SHOW A W212 E-CLASS MULE! It lasted about four seconds. Half the crowd missed it. But Mercedes showed the 2010 E-Class at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It was easy to miss. The nose of this heavily disguised prototype poked out from behind the screen, paused for a moment and then disappeared. Even if you saw it you didn't really see anything. After the marathon press conference we talked our way backstage in search of the black machine, but it was long gone, probably off to the Nurburgring or Death Valley for some more testing. Speaking of which, we'll have some spy video of this very car on Inside Line later in the week so check back. Straightline - 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show: 2010 Mercedes E-Class Mule I can't believe it! The grille looks like it is going to be huge. F700 cues on the way! M
