They're non-existent on the bigger engined models for one and the few that are sold on the lower end models are usually bought by people who do a lot of towing or someone who wants an E-Class with a manual, generally. Perhaps, and this is a serious thought now, perhaps there won't be a manual option on the next E-Class? But I seriously can't see that occurring at the same time since there is a very small demand for manuals on the E-Class. We'll have to wait and see.  But to answer your question, I have not thought about it this way and financially speaking it would be silly to do this.

| Re: 2009 E-Class (spy pics & details) man they CAN NOT drop the foot operated hand brake..its a MUST... the day they do that..it will no longer be MB.. as for the dials.. i kinda like that retro look.. a analog clock and analog gauges infront of your eyes.. and more detailed and modern info in the Command screen..seems like a good idea to me
