Thanks for these pictures. The Interior and the Exterior look really interesting. But at the moment, I can't really belief that the E-Class will only come with Automatic Transmission...

That is a basically finished interior in terms of design at least, hopefully not materials because the dash does seem to be a little cheap. The air vents look to be straight of the W204 C. Not sure I like it, don't see evidence of a horizontal strip of wood anywhere... don't like how MB is using less and less wood.

Osna, you took the word right out of my mouth, that interior is very angular and chick.

The next E interior will no doubt be very robotic looking with the hard edges and creases. I also see a center clock like the S and the center vents
most likly will have an aluminum cover like the S.

I also believe Huck nailed it yet again.. with his impression. Speaking of evolution, I guess thats in the eye of the beholder.

I hope, that the build quality of the interior will be better compared to the C-Class. It would be really sad, if Mercedes save money by taking parts of the C-Class for the new E...

I wouldn`t pass a final judgement of quality based on one grainy photo.
The best part is we can only see the top part of the dash design.

Everything on that PS looks very upright and the line that goes along the sides of the car, where the door handles are, goes far too low!

Some parts look pretty good though!

wow those PS looks very good to me..they need some work..but the idea seems very cool..

Sexy PS although I'm not so keen on an E-class with C-class tail lights.

This car is going to be a huge attention grabber with those trapezoid shaped headlights. I have no doubt that it will have an overall well executed design, as the E-class always seems to against the rest of the MB car line up, but those headlights will certainly get your attention if nothing else about the car does.
