Those tail lights on all these chops are wrong. If you look at the back of the mules, it's clear that the lights won't extend onto the trunk lid like in the chops. It will probably have C-Class like tail lights. They got the front right though.

To tell you the truth, I'm kind of disappointed in this new E. It looks more like a facelift with an S-Class interior than an actual redesign.
This should've have been a whole new car....W311 or something, if you know what I mean. Don't keep it in the W210 and W211 series, we've already had two generations of that.

wow those are some cool shots.. the front lights are starting to shape up..

the interior is very interesting.. the design looks very sharp and edgy..

Interesting! From the interior shots, it looks like the new E will only come with an auto tranny (you can clearly see the Direct Select lever).

The steering looks like the C's, so we can expect a C-class look alike COMAND controler, not like the S'. I like the double hump for COMAND much better than the folding screen in the new C. The cluster instruments look smilar to the new C's as well. Oh and there's a clock between the air vents, like the one in the S.

Overall, I like the interior better than the exterior so far.

Wow! Will you look at how darn Angular that interior looks?! That's pretty cool. Seems like there's a nod to 80s angu-minimal chic going on there.

Also appears the the more squared-off split lights are making their way to production - as indicated by Huck. This will definitely not be an evolutionary design by any means! I like it!

Looks like the front lights are squared off which should look interesting! I'm pretty sure that's not the finished interior yet, it's probably one just for the testing process!
