Sure is! Thing is, I think the convertible is even nicer!

True but for the first time I'm lost as to what Mercede's plan is with the CLK and E-class. The e-class has been stripped down to just masking tape as if it's due this fall, before the CLK. The name grand makes the final SE model of the current generation CLK and I would suspect the new model to be unvield this year.

I think the design has aged VERY WELL. At first I don't think the CLK design really struck many people as a nice design, but over time it has really shown that its a beautiful car...

Yeah I know what you mean. The last time I saw "Grand Edition" was on the G (when they thought they were going to cancel it altogether) and on the last of the W140 S500s. We don't always get these here in the U.S. I agree, this clearly means that we'll see the CLK before the E-Class IMO. I would if we could see the new CLK at Detroit or Geneva early next year.

Re: CLK "Grand Edition"

hah,

We always call these the "desperation" editions. The last attempt to eek out some sales of a tired style.

What's really sad is the Black edition. that is one awesome looking car, and suddenly it will be an old style.
