  | 2007 Mini Coopers Price for U.S. According to Winding Road magazine: "Our mole in BMW’s Mini division has spilled some exclusive beans for WINDING ROAD – U.S. market prices for the sparkling new 2007 Mini Cooper and Cooper S! An official press release is due soon, but we’ve got the figures first, and here they are: Current Cooper (2006) – Base MSRP: $17,450 + $550 D&H = $18,000 New Cooper (2007) –Base MSRP: $18,050 + $650 D&H = $18,700 Current Cooper S (2006) –Base MSRP: $20,900 + $550 D&H = $21,450 New Cooper S (2007) –Base MSRP: $21,200 + $650 D&H = $21,850 In other words, you’ll shell out $700 more for a base Cooper than you would for the outgoing model and a more reasonable $400 extra for a Cooper S. Having just returned from driving the 2007 Cooper S in Spain, we think the modest price increases are in-line with all of the additional content and higher-quality materials evident in the new new Mini. We’ll have a full road test and video of our time with the car in next month’s issue of WINDING ROAD, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled." |
