Kinda disappointed that Peugeot will use the John Cooper Works developed engine….Wonder if they’ll put a JCW badge on it
this comment actually has some interesting content
so if its true, then it means that the 308 RCZ is still alive. the RCZ is said to be produced at magna (plant unknown, possibly graz) - it also uses the prince engines (codename for the PSA/BMW engines) ... so could they build the mini speedster also with magna ? it would mean an radical cost reduction, but it would make sense for such radical niche vehicles

...just that you know, this was a mind experiment

@drdunkel
i believe in the raise of quality with an austrian production location but it doesn't make sense. a second production line of the r55/56/57 platform is actual not neccessary. oxford plant is not at the capacity maximum (240.000 cars p.a.) due to the economic crisis.
