I love the gearbox in the Mini too. But then again, the R27's and the Type-R's are just as sweet to shift. Thing about the Mini, is that power comes so effortlessly from the twin-scroll turbocharger, unlike the frantic R27/Type-R type of power delivery which may seem a bit inadequate if you're constantly stuck in traffic with precious little chance to rev anything above 4,000rpm. Maserati, yes the price is shocking too, Minis are way overpriced here, but usually you buy one you keep it for pretty long. It's a cult car.

| Re: Mini John Cooper Works vs. Cooper S with JCW kit the JCW is alittle overpriced, true (cheaper compared to the limited R53 JCW GP) but in my opinion the other models are not far from the growd german prices: MINI ONE 95HP - 16.150euro Seat Ibiza 85HP - 14.090euro MINI COOPER 120HP - 18.300euro Seat Ibiza 105HP - 15.590euro Mazda 2 ca100HP - 15.000euro @cult: (pics have been taken from mini2.info mini2.com and motoringfile.com) these i have came across in the recent months    |
