Back then those cars could do without all the fancy electronics and airbags in every nook, you know things that put so much weight in cars now. The reality of the situation is however, the latest Mercs are technically superior, more luxurious, and safer than the cars of the past - the difference is, in their day, Mercedes were so clearly superior to just about everything else - today, there are other vehicles that can match Mercedes. There are definitely some quality issues, but overall, I still think Mercedes are producing beautiful cars.

Ok that is better...lol. Though I still don't see any one car matching Mercedes in all areas, but some from a few companies in particular are very close.
