More Brutalist architecture.
This would have to be one of the genuine masterpieces of 20th Century Modern architecture.
The Salk Institute is truly exemplary architecture -- it embodies everything the Modernists strived for, it is utopian architecture -- up-lifting -- spiritual even.
The Salk Institute, 1959-1965, La Jolla, California, designed by Louis Kahn
Here is another beautiful building by Louis Kahn, Ther Kimbell art Museum, Texas, 1966-1972.
