Let's end this discussion once and for all. Is the CLS a coupe or is it a sedan? Vote and post your opinions.

Coupe 4 me not exactly like the 911 lol this is like a long wheel base coupe. think of it as a CL with an extra couple of doors at the back.

Its not a Coupe like Porsche its a Coupe like 6-serie

Even if some people think its a sedan, its a car with characteristics from a Coupé

Well I don't want to argue with you guys..........but you know where I stand on the matter.

And That's why it's called a "4-door coupé".

Nothing but a 4 door sedan.

it's a 4 door sedan like every other. nothin' special, it's just a different design, a strange one, maybe like the 5er.

For me this is a coupe but a totally new one with four door. Just like there is two and four door hatchbacks there can exist four door coupes two. The CLS is the start of something totally new and as reported Porsche and VW will be launching their four doors coupes and I don't think that there won't be long before companies like Kia and Toyota will launch their cheap knockoffs.

Here's the definition of a Coupe from dictionary.com:
1. closed four-wheel carriage with two seats inside and one outside.
2. also coupe (kp) A closed two-door automobile.
And may I add that Coupe means "Cut" in french...

So what makes the CLS a coupe? the roofline?
