How does this 7G and the paddles works. Is it possible to change gear from let's say fifth to third whenever you want and also can you change gear at any speed you like?

Is it like SMG?

We knew this car was coming, it was just a question of when!

It's not hugely faster than the CLS55 but I'm sure those extra horses make a difference. Will be interested to see how this does when compared to the M5, and the RS6 when it comes out!

I think you doubt the performance level of the M5 a little to fast there Andreas. I've driven it and I must say its the fastest and most dynamic car I've ever driven. I really can't see there being a huge difference between it and the M6.

Now the CLS 63 might be very comparable to the M5 now because it has less torque (no supercharger) but very similar horse power figures. So these to cars may become more similar then we think.

Im not talking about a huge performance improvement, just slightly faster and then Im talking about acceleration at high speeds, from 200km/h and up.

PS, I have experienced M6 and two M5's, one stock and one Hartge. I know they are fast and handles like a dream. I would still choose them over E/CLS63.
The seat position is sportier in the M6 than M5, M6 have faster laptimes than M5 and it also accelerate faster according to tests and our videos from M5board.com.

OT: God, Im in love with the M5. You drive it once or twice and you cant get that expreience out of your mind you know. Im going through M5 withdrawals and I drove it less than a week ago. Im sure your going through the same thing with your M5/ M6 experience.

Yea I suppose there is a little difference between the two cars.

The acceleration differences between these two is nothing you feel. You are little more connected to the road in the M6, I think its because it feels like you sit closer to the road. Both offer a driving experience that I never found in huge cars like these two. Very nimble for its seizes

Anyhow, I think we better stay on-topic, afterall this is a CLS63 thread
