Re: Fully Redesigned CLS Impression

So, can we expect a CLS63 AMG with 600+ hp?.

Re: Fully Redesigned CLS Impression

i don't think AMG will change their V8 so soon, AMG mills usually undergo modification before phasing out
we aven't see the turbo version of the 6.3, it's too early for a new one
unless the spreading of the engine accross the range offset the cost and garnered enough reason to justify a totally new engine

Re: Fully Redesigned CLS Impression

Skysony; If the above is true, there won't be another AMG engine. The S and CL and SL (the highest end cars) are the only ones with two AMG engines...

Vabb: but times are changing and it might be better for emmisions and stuff to downsize the engine a bit. Aren't there rumors that the new M5 will have a V8 as well, no more V10...?

Edit; the cutline of the bonnet is like BMW. Funny. Huck is usually close to spot-on about the looks of future MB cars, so I'm sure this cgi is close too. It looks less like a banana already

Re: Fully Redesigned CLS Impression

true downsizing is the order of the day, but so is cost reduction, and MB has already enough small engines in A, B and C to have an average emission within required ranges.
