I made the same experience. I went to the MB dealer here yesterday. The have a CLS 350 CGI there, black exterior and black interior with bird's-eye maple wood veneer. Looks great - it even has a wood/leather steering wheel. Just love it - I've never thought, that I could like the new steering wheel, but it's great. I don't take any pictures, because I don't like the salemen here…will take some, when I'm back in Hanover!
Also sat in the SLK - the steering wheel is to big for this car. It's like driving a truck…

Old-school MB! MB is returning to their old roots! haha

That's one reason why I can't drive my dad's 500SL from 1989. The steering wheel is so huge it makes driving the car in a sporty fashion very difficult.
