The photos are showing a prototype in cold weather testing. Quite visibly the car is featuring a completely new front grille in the style of its big brother CL, and also the rear end – still under cover – gets all new taillights and a new bumper. The current CLS came on the market in August 2004, so one can expect the facelift to be scheduled for release in 2008. |

I can't imagine what they'll do with this car other than go from a 4 to a 3 slat grille and some minor cosmetic tweaks. I'd like to see a CLS600 though, but I don't think the V12 will fit. They could make the CLS600 like the old W124 E500, wider fenders, no AMG kit and an exclusive interior. M |
