Well the SL facelift will be much heavier. The grill will be much much bigger than in the previous model, and the two chrom-lines will be brighter and inclined to suggest more sportiness.
Other than that, yes, the design with only two lines around the star, and the lights will look similar.
and now Mercedes' Munchen- and Ingolstadt-based archrivals are working on their four-door coupes. Expect Audi's A7 and BMW's CS to take on the CLS at the end of the decade. In fact, even Porsche and Aston Martin are set to launch their Panamera and Rapide streamlined sedans in the near future. Expect Mercedes to have an all-new CLS by then.
If i'm not mistaken, both CS, Panamera and especially Rapide will be much more expensive than CLS, meaning they're not competing directly, right? Or maybe the next CLS will be more exclusive and expensive...
