The "rival" M3 is $30,000 cheaper.

IMO, the current M3 isn't even close to being a rival to the CLK63 AMG. The CLK is way more powerful and luxurious. The C55 is the M3 rival. The CLK63 sits in between the M3 and M6. Its is just more car than the M3, but not quite up to the level of the M6.
