I suspect a CLK63 with the full 510hp would likely embarrass some other AMG models, while a R63 with all that weight needed the new V8 in full tune. At 480hp this CLK63 is going to be a mini CLK-DTM IMO. That is like more than a hundred hp leap over the CLK55! Hopefully the chassis can cope with this much power.

All of this and no mention of the E-Class FL or the E63, I guess Mercedes is going to wait until the New York Auto Show (April) or just show it in May when the new Mercedes museum opens in Germany. The latter of which was supposed to be when the new CL was to be shown. We'll see!!
