I am going to buy a new car; my prospect is CLK/ 3er coupe E92. I asking the dealer, they suggest to wait for a new CLK...
What do you think? should I wait? And when the new clk is will be release?
PS: I’m a new member, I live in Thailand. I drive MB E220 Y95
FYI: Car price in Thailand incur 300% TAX or above,
CLK 200K in Thailand cost USD 117,500.
This why I need to be serious on this decision!

Thank you | That'll be one heck of a long wait. Just buy the 3er and consider the CLK in 3 years time when it arrives in Thailand. | | | | | Moderator

Thank you | Hi! Welcome to germancarzone!
I can really understand, that this is an important decision for you. The BMW 3-series is a great car - but I think, I would wait for the new CLK. Nevertheless nobody can say at the moment, if the new CLK will have some defaults that some new cars have...or how it will really look like. You also have to wait for the next three years - the launch of the CLK is planned for 2009/2010 (from what I can remember)! I think, you will not get this car before the end of 2010 in Thailand... | | | | | The Photo Phanatic

Now this is what the next generation CLK should look like. I like this artist impression.
The only thing that needs a retouch here IMO are the mirrors. They look "fat" and "unsporty" in proportion to the dynamic design. | | | | | Advocate

I don't like it. That Mercedes coupe shape just isn't there like with the CL or first generation CLK.

M | I think, this car will look great!! The profile design looks already very good and I hope that Mercedes will do a great job with the headlights etc... | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
