^ They were never so rigorously stylized in the past ......Mercedes was always designed from a very pragmatic and functional stance. Today, Mercedes has become very concerned about styling -- and this has far more to do with appealing to market tastes than any strong-held design philosophy. Design and Styling are not the same thing. BTW, I deleted those posts because I keep posting stuff that is off topic  |

Despite the excess use of lines that chop is a highly accurate representation of what the front end will look like. Obviously the real deal will look much smoother. |

The headlights will take some getting use to, but I do believe it will fit the overall profile. I do wonder how much this car will weigh seeing as though it seems much larger then the current model. |

I'm looking forward to this car. The CLK sales have been off for some time now. I still can't for the life of me figure out what the back will look like. It does look like it is more masculine than the current. But that don't take much. The front looks great from what I can see. Although these pics show standard fogs and no LED, and a single exhaust?? What's up with that. |
