No, I think the CLK will have a rear fender well similar to the style we see in the GLK. I think, even though it's under pinnings are from the C, you will see many styling differences. Particularly in the sheet metal.

I hope to see that E-level of trim on the inside.

Not bad, not bad...Of course we are lacking details, but it is a good rendering given the informations we have.
The rear appears a bit short, and you forget the special rear fender the OCD features, connecting the rear fender to the rear lights a bit like the Continental GT. We still can see the C-Class base, but it's quite good for such a "for fun" job!

Nice chop but pretty inaccurante. From what we have seen it's safe to say that the CLK won't resemble the C-class in anyway.

On top of this we have computer renderings which show the possible look of the completed car. Here you can make out how the current S-Class has influenced everything else below it, even though S herself bears smoother lines all around, as opposed to sharp, pointy shapes of C, SL, CL and now CLK.

CLK has always had the greatest sporting potential of all four-plus seater Mercs. So Merc will offer the Advanced Agility pack on this too, which greatly improves cornering ability and helps in making the cars very unMerc. DTM? Black Series? Foregone conclusion.

The 550 models are expected to get 428hp?? thats a 40hp jump with the same 5.5liter V8.. This must be the new Direct-Injection technology. If this is true MB is not done with increases in power numbers.
