Maybe we'll get a 4Matic version this time around.

I'm not sure what the consensus is on the boot lid BUT i believe it is fake. That's the only reason it is exposed. No other camoed MB vehicle reveals the trunk or even the shape of the middle tail lights. The 84 gigabyte question is, why go thru the expense of making these fakes.
Any ideas? | | | | | Advocate

Any ideas? | The bootlid is a cover and you're right is fake. The reason for this is to hide the true design of the car. If MB doesn't cover their designs or reveals the true taillights or shapes other companies can copy the design maybe produce it faster and make the MB look dated. | | | | | Contributor

So far the profile looks like the current C209 CLK-Class. I just can't wait for the camo to come off. I've always liked the current CLK, despite a lot of comments on it being a "girly car". When I see them, they still look quite nice, especially with some great rims and color choice.
About the possible 4Matic CLK, maybe. If Audi offers the A5 with Quattro, then Mercedes can at least offer an AWD CLK to at least offer some competition against it. | | | | | Devotee

I've never like the current W209 CLK, too bulbous. I would have prefered it to be sleeker, like the W208 was.
This one looks longer, lower and sleeker to my eyes, but it's right, let's see with less camo to make an idea...Against A/S5 and e92 it will have hard competition...
I'm waiting for the new rear wheel arch too, said to begin with this CLK (with a little predecessor in person of the GLK, but beeing a SUV with already big wheel archs it does not really count). Curious to see it IRL! | | | | | The Photo Phanatic

Of course it is. That car is below heavy camo still... | | | | | Contributor
