Look at the upper part of the center console of the dahsboard;seems to be a little too different from what we see on the B;it's a pity to mention that the steering wheel and some lines in the architecture of the dahsboard don't match with those from the B!Hmm, don't know what to tell about these impressive discoveries ...A-Klasse accidentaly unveiled (2).jpg

Sounds logical, I even would have awaited the A-Class to be revealed first, as it was released first. A and B have absolutely no difference from pre-FL in the interior then, apart the new Comand. And the start-stop is not on all cars, at least on the B it will first be offered for the petrol engines...but is said to offer a significantly better comfort than the competition start-stop according to MB. Don't know if it is BS to excuse the late release of the system or if it's true...

Do you feel it when the motor is launching, does it start everytime like if you started your motor, or is it quite silent and vibrationproof? I know you can't beat it, the time you hit the clutch it starts...so when the gear is engaged it has started. I assume it does not work when the motor is cold. However, doesn't it hurt the life expectancy of the battery, to constantly start/stop/start/stop? I think the Mercedes systems uses a special alternator-starter (alterno-démarreur in French) that also helps launching the car from stillstand, but I don't know if it is this more complex system that will be used in the B-Class or if it's reserved for bigger cars.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: The A-Klasse FL unveiled accidentaly(or not) in one photo To be honest I rarely use it, I usually have the clutch down at traffic lights. Only time I really use it in traffic stockings when I have to wait for a while. You let go of the clutch and put the gear in neutral and the engine turns off, when you touch the clutch the engine starts up instantly, it react extremly fast. It works good but its not something I have been missing my whole life ![]() No it doesnt work right away and not when its less than 4 degrees Celsious outside. Here , there can be improvements I guess.
