A Mercedes wallet and business card holder, crafted from fine nappa leather; writing utensils, featuring partial sterling silver construction with an onyx stone accent; a wristwatch, styled after the CL's interior clock; and of course, a model scaled perfectly to reflect the exquisite contours of the actual production CL - these are just a few of the means by which you can openly promulgate that you are in possession of one of the world's preeminent vehicles.

Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH launches exquisite CL-Class Collection: Perfected exclusivity

The groundbreaking design idiom of the new CL-Class also informs the exclusive CL-Class Collection with which Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH accompanies the launch of the luxury coupé. From the attractive wristwatch in the style of the instrument panel to the high-quality writing utensils, these magnificent products follow the design principles of the elegant two-door coupé.

The CL-Class Collection from Mercedes Benz Accessories GmbH was created in cooperation with the Mercedes-Benz Design Center in Sindelfingen. The finest materials, perfect workmanship and the unobtrusive design bring the unique ambience of the new CL-Class into other spheres, from the office to hotel room and also to home.
The Leather Collection: Lustrous natural materials to meet the highest standards
The Leather Collection has been inspired by the luxurious interior of the CL-Class. Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH uses for the high-quality wallet only the very finest nappa leather – in classic black. This natural product is particularly lustrous thereby imparting the distinctive tactile qualities which also create the exclusive atmosphere of the interior of the luxury coupé. The contrasting beige seam and the unobtrusive lettering on the inside make this wallet an exclusive accessory for him and for her. This wallet can contain eleven credit cards and has a double pouch for banknotes. The spacious coin pouch is closed with a practical press stud.


The elegant business card case, also with decorative beige stitching and Mercedes-Benz lettering, follows the same design principle and has room for up to 50 business cards. Two additional pouches and a hidden magnetic catch complete the particularly high-quality look.


Exclusive driving gloves for perfect handling
The high-quality driving gloves in the CL-Class Collection combine black nappa leather with beige perforated leather providing comfortable ventilation for palms and fingers. The half-finger length is a reminder of the glorious motor racing history of the brand. The Röckl logo on the outside of the glove indicates to connoisseurs the cooperation with the traditional Munich manufacturer. The familiar Mercedes-Benz lettering with the classic star decorates the practical press stud of this product customized for ladies and men.




Ash timber look from the cockpit
The high-quality writing utensils and the elegant umbrella for the CL-Class Collection demonstrate that ordinary objects need not have a mundane appearance: the design perfectly transfers the ash timber look of the interior to the grips of the rollerball pen and the ballpoint pen and the handle of the umbrella. The rollerball pen cap, made of 925 sterling silver with an engraved star, rounds off the appropriate finish. A precious onyx stone on the cap of the Lady ballpoint pen emphasises its exclusivity. This writing utensil comes with a tasteful black leather case in the shape of a miniature handbag, and is embossed with the Mercedes-Benz lettering and star. The black umbrella handle is also in ash timber look, and is a reliable accessory in even very heavy rainfall due to a special teflon covering.










Advanced human-automobile interaction
The design of the unique wristwatch replicates the rectangular frame and the bright dial of the analogue clock in the cockpit of the new Mercedes-Benz CL-Class. In this way the exclusive timepiece daily renews the classic interaction between human and automobile. The high precision quartz watch has a seconds hand, a date indicator and an unobtrusive star on the dial. The strap of black calf leather adjusts itself perfectly to the shape of the wrist providing a pleasant comfort-fit. Secure and comfortable wearing is also guaranteed by the easy to use folding clasp of high-grade steel.



Key ring of precious metal
The attractive key ring is inspired by the original lettering of the CL type plate adorning the striking rear of the new luxury coupe. The high-quality coating with the precious metal rhodium makes the shining silver colour particularly effective. The surface has a high gloss finish and the connecting bars are mat. This combination emphasises the three-dimensionality of the key ring. The Mercedes-Benz star has been engraved by laser on the movable link. The exclusive banknote clip of brushed precious metal emulates the elegant shape of the exterior mirror of the luxury coupé. The surrounding engraved Mercedes-Benz lettering and the ornamental star appliqué create the typical impression of the brand.


Small versions of the greatest: true to original model cars not only for collectors
The true to original models of the CL-Class coupé are ideal for the collection display cabinet or as an exclusive eye-catcher on the desk. In the world leading collector scales of 1:18 and 1:43 the valuable zinc diecast miniatures from the manufacturer 'AutoArt' are among the most coveted new products. In the much favoured model railway scale 1:87 the ornamental miniatures from the company 'Herpa' are of finely engraved synthetic material.


The latest model making technology ensures the perfect proportions of the small coupé: the conversion of the body contours was completed exclusively with reference to the original Computer Aided Design (CAD) data of the original. Only this degree of effort enables realisation of precise dimensional accuracy and the many details of the models. The first class painting in three colours per model corresponds with almost one-hundred percent colourfastness to that of the original; this is because the colours were mixed according to the original colour samples. Only when each miniature fulfils the stringent quality standards are they given product approval by the Design Center in Sindelfingen – just like the original.


All the CL-Class Collection products will be available as of September 2006 through Mercedes-Benz sales partners.

Nice equipment, I also like the keyring and the watch as well. The watch looks like the one in the center stack of the new CL`s dash which isn`t a bad thing imo.
