Cl 63 Amg - 07-24-2006, 08:22 AM

I think it's time for a new thread now thatwe've seen what the car looks like

The car looks amazing. i see some new design elements: new rims, new air intakes with chrome frames and -interestingly- a new grill!! it seems like AMG is on the way of making their models stand out more than any time before. Respect!

thnx to MBZFAN and The Artist for the pics

Simply put, the best car to wear the 63 AMG badge . The car represents the value of Mercedes and AMG superbly. Elegance + presence + sportiness + exclusive = CL 63 AMG

To put it simply...MB at it's absolute best. The CL proves beyond any doubt that there is still plenty of magic at MB.

Hussein I too agree with you on the whole design aspect of AMG. At one time AMG was simply a badge and other little sport elements added to the car. However, that is not the case anymore. I think manufacturers are paying more and more attention to detail when it comes to differentiating between base models and sport models. I think this is a prime example of that.

Amen to BMWFREAK, the work that being put into AMG models (especially the cosmetics of the car) is the best we have seen in years. The design of these wheels make me wanna touch those delicious brake discs if I see the car lol

LMAO!

Truthfully I think I would have to go and say that MB and Audi, more MB in my opinion, is showing this aggressive side in styling. Personally, BMW has lost it. I think the M6 and the M5 could have been more aggressive. The other day when I saw the picture of the BMW M5 next to the E55 I thought the E55 looked more aggressive than the M5.

Well I guess its more the case of being a completely well designed car than simply just being aggresive. The CL AMG is awesome from every angle and look aggresive from every angle.

The same cannot be said for E63 or M5 especially since they are both sedans to begin with, therefore from the side profile they look a bit 'dull'.

But CL AMG and M6 wise the design of both cars brings out the aggresiveness of the AMG and M package more than their sedan counterparts.

Very true. However, I think this Cl63 is more aggressive, even if it is by a degree, than the M6. Of course it is a newer car, so there is room to work.

for sure.. the M6 is not very aggressive looking i noticed and pointed out that from the start..
but the M5 on the other hand... is just pure evil..
i hope the M3 goes in the footsteps of the M5 in terms of aggressiveness..

PS
Thnx for the shot out on the pics..ile be looking for more info and pics..
