LOL, you of all people should've known it was coming!! They did the same with the previous S/CL AMG's,why not with this one?
Don't worry, you'll get your turbocharged CL63/S63 when the facelift comes around..... Along with an all new SL63 of course

I'm sure it will be faster than the CL55, I'm sure the boys at AMG put that into consideration - they have to. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens

My gut is telling me it will be slightly slower. MB is just dreaming about those numbers.

You are right. numbers don't add up. I guess only real tests can tell the truth.

Yep, they got me on that one. I didn't even think about the previous CL/SL/S getting the hi-po motors 1/2 way through their production runs! Hopefully this new engine is generating more power than the official figures they release.

Ok, I don`t get on here much but I have to ask Alex what he thinks of the appearence and power numbers of the CL63, would you trade in your CL55 for this new design, Alex!!?....

To me the CL63 has killer looks, the best looking 2-door on the planet but the numbers just don`t add up. I think if MB wanted to keep the torque the same as the rest of the AMG line-up with the new M156 for the 7G thay should have added more hp (about 560-580hp) to at least match the same hp and toque combination as the CL55 maby I`m griping too much.

Maybe people will complain and they will bump it up another 10hp like Audi did with the S6.

Actually i have sold my CL55 couple of months ago...

I like this car, but love the prior better. Interior here is most impressive too me. Outside is very nice. i preffer several other GT's over the MB CL63. Perhaps once its out for acouple of years and is worth half, i would consider one. Till then... Im afraid not.
