damn the cl with AMG kit looks superb, much more agressive than the s-class with AMG,, it looks better IMO

the P/S cl65 doesnt look very good , im sure the real one will look much better

This car has just made my top 3 list (which changes a lot actually). This car is absolutely amazing, easily the best looking "big" coupe. And when I mean big Coupe, I'm not talking 911, SL or 6er. I'm talking Bentley GT big. And this car just blows it out of the water.

Now this is what I'm wondering. Seeing how outrageously expensive this car is, would you shell out this kind of money for 1 car, or actually get multiple, or go for the Bentley?

p.s. Roberto, you were right. I'm definitely warming up to the rear lights.

Yeh, I agree with you Tycoon....and again emphasising the fact that we're not trying to say MB copied BMW in anyway.
The resemblence I see is the 'lazy eyes' look. The lights on both cars have that eyebrow above the lights, they both have two head lights, and a rather similar shape. Also, both have their grille pushed forward in front of the light.

No major resemblence ofcourse, .. just similar emotion through the eyes/lights.

I admit it's neat looking but because it is a Mercedes it's got to be held to a higher standard and this car just seems too bulky, too flashy, too stylistically modern for them.

It's unfortunate that they're striving for a "new and cool" look rather than one that's traditional with classic styling, subtle elegance and exquisite detailing.

I just hope Zetsche can help Mercedes be the most beautiful machines in the world again

I would agree with you to a point ....but I love this new car. The S class is not a particularly beautiful or elegant car to me -- the Audi A8 is much more tasteful ....we have had many discussions (which often degenerated to arguments) about these things in the past on this forum ....in spite of my reservations about the direction of Mercedes Benz designs, I really love this new CL.
