I like it now, a lot. With bigger pictures with better lighting the design is more clear and the proportions make much much more sense to me. I especially love how the silhoutte kind of slopes gently from front to back and vice versa. Hopefully the next (and more affordable option) CLK gets some help in the design department from it's big brother. to MB designers.

Thanks for asking about me. Also Roberto and Yaz Amg, I'm here!!!!! I go on a vacation and decide not to even try to get look a computer for a few days and Mercedes-freaking-Benz decides to show the car I've been waiting months to see, the CL............lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE IT! The car is slinkly like the CLS and yet it retains much of that elegance that was such a part of the previous CL. Everytime I doubt Mercedes they come through with flying colors. THE CAR IS MAJOR HOT AND WILL BE AN INSTANT SUCCESS ALL OVER THE WORLD!

I read the other thread, amazing how some fans of other brands can't stand to see MB introduce such a stunning vehicle. Aren't we all "Germancarfans", but with preferences? My goodness some of that nonsense I read before it was removed was really unbelievable! Anyway this car gets my approval with only one concern, the panel gaps look too big around the doors and hood, too much space in between there it should be tighter like the S-Class, but other than that the car is stunning.

Do you guys think the rear turn signals would look better if it was a bit more red or maybe smoked? I think it looks to clear makes it stand out a bit too much. This is not a big deal at all compared to how beautiful this car is.

I must have missed his post, but I need Roberto's official take on this new CL.

Welcome back Marcus!
Now where's bum-man?

Thank God I wasn't around for the nonsense that was going on earlier - excellent job mods

God, I L-O-V-E this car already. It has captured my heart instantly! Time for Chris to go back to the new Mercedes-Benz Museum to take real life pictures of the new CL.

I just noticed that the new CL is actually longer than the previous one. Take a closer look at the pictures Siko posted. The C216 seems to have longer windows than the C215, especially the backseat window.

Artist, you are the man for MB pictures - THANK YOU

Wait are you sure? I thought the one on the far side was the signal and the middle horizontal one was the reverse light.
