The car is definatley ALL MB! They did a good job and truthfully it looks very nice. No need to knock it...

I prefer the new CL to the current one!

I have never really liked the current one, it never looks quite right to me, but the new one looks much better, and I'm sure in the flesh it will look much hotter!

I think Roberto and I are arguing from different sides of the same page. From a commercial point of view, the CL has the goods and should have no trouble reaching sales targets.

On the other hand, cars like the CL further justify their existance by becoming ambassadors for their brand, showing some people how awesome all Benzs are, despite the fact that an A-Klasse is all your budget might allow. From this point of view, the CL isn't a failure, but is it lacking that extra special "leadership role" that I was dying to see.

I believe, as a recent first for BMW, the 6er has been able to establish itself as a "style leader" within their range, with the kind of unique gene se qua that causes irrational exuberance at dealerships, despite the fact that some prospectives might find it plain ugly.

I suppose calling the SLK's rear lights "bland" is a tad harsh. For what it's worth, it's a dull shape that's really well detailed and manages pass off as "Benz look" thanks to some watchful eyes.

Nothing beats a high-profile release from BMW or Mercedes! 14 pages and counting.

and that's not even the official release with high res pics, data and specs, these are just half a dozen leaked squirmy little pics!

If you had an issue in another thread, you should let a mod know. Issue would be addressed at that time and resolved.

This is a forum of insight, sure some like and some dont like the car. There are ways to express ones self. From my understanding your saying this is a PAYBACK/REVENGE situation.

If so, this will NOT HAPPEN HERE! Take that BS to Private Messaging. All this will come to a quick end without warning. There are guests here that come for info and pics and all types of other interests not to read flaming and absurd comments.
