Too good to be true?

Hi everyone, I came across this ad Mercedes-Benz CL 500 CL 500 AMG-Styling Distronic for sale - Auto Trader UAE (22983)
He's offering a 2008 german spec. CL500 with AMG kit, 18000km for 200,000AED that's approx. 55000 USD. I just wanted to know if it's legit or clearly a scam because I still can't believe the price.

In my opinion its not very reliable.

The badges say 4matic which means 4wd but the drivetrain is just stated as 2wd. The quad exhaust system looks well intergrated, but was also not part of the standard AMG package.

and the pre-upgraded version (like the shown one):

It would be also interesting to see the complete option list on that car. Normally there isn't car that has "Full Options"!

I would be very careful with this.

Whoever placed it didn't see it fit to spend time to write a proper options and features list. Under the criteria of condition they wrote the usual reply: "In great condition."

If I were shopping for this car I would like to know what features this car has. The CL already comes with some great standard features but you can still always order a few extra features - and he's neglected to tell us this, if it has them.

Try calling the guy. See how he is and try to deduce if this is indeed genuine or some sort of scam.

A guy over on Carspin wanted to buy a Golf from an online auto trader site. Turns out the guy selling the Golf was some sort of scammer. He found out about it by calling him and asking him some serious and in-detail questions about the car which the guy couldn't answer (apparently sounding really unsure etc.). When my friend tried to arrange a meeting the seller of the Golf was conveniently always out of town on business etc. My forum buddy basically figured it was a scam of some sort.

I think it very well might be legit.

I've heard that when realty market in UAE (Dubai in particular) collapsed, many expats left. They used to find dozens of car parked at Dubai airport each day.. There were even Porsches..
