Which post are you having trouble with? Or is it just a general few out of the bunch?

I haven't seen one on the road yet but it looked so much different and aggresive to the normal 3 series at the motor show to me. There unfortunetly wasn't a normal 3 series coupe to compare against but I think I have seen enough to say I much prefer the M3!!!

Just tell those people that you are looking for something more sporty than your 650i, that will guarantee to light them up. Are you going to test drive the M3 in the near future?
I'm extremely meticulous. I decided I'd like to go over the M3 in great detail many times

All of the salesman where from a different dealership unfortunetly. With all honesty and respect I don't think they did a great job. They almost seemed to me like they were above everyone else. Just my view but!

My chance for test drives of any car are non-existent for months now that I have had a week off work. Goodbye social-lie and most likely time on here. But yes, when I begin to look for a replacement for the 5er I will greatly consider the M3. It's proberly a litle bit shouty for me. I like a luxury vehicle but I don't really want one that shouts I spent all that money on this car. So I won't be driving the 6er to work very often. It can be my weekend escape car so I can drive and work on my ailing tan!!!

@Monster - Do you watch RPA? I featured on it tonite, well not really, I was at the back reading a scan when a nurse was talking to a patient. I'm proud to say I was on TV

Those ones after the photos of the 520d in the 1st page, photos from page 2 onwards are fine.

IMO, the 3 series coupe always look a bit physically weak, the M3 fixed that problem.

Mate I couldn't agree with you more . I hate those bastards, arrogant and ignorant. It isn't like they actually own the cars on display.

It sounds like the production version of the BMW CS is your type of car ? or the X6. Still, try the M3, because it is as good as being a performance car as an luxury car.

I am sure other doctors will realise you deserve the 6er and won't be jealous about your car right?

I think it depends on the colour choice and the wheels. With the M Pack that you can option onto the standard coupe, it looks fantastic. I do think it is a very good looking car but. I'm just not a big fan of the interior.

I hate to say this but when I went at first I was ignored as a potential customer at the show. I didn't dress up at all, just normal clothing, and one of the salesmen actually said to me, "Sir, do you realise this is a $150k car. At that stage I introduced myself using my Doctor title which I rarely do. His expression dropped. Just to rub it in I took my keys from my pocket and dangled them in his face. After that I;m sure I could have had him cleaning my own car.

I love my 5 Series. I'm not sure I'll upgrade from the 5er for a long time. My next car will proberly be the X5. Then proberly the new 5 series. Maybe when I have a teenage son hounding me to get the top of the line BMW, and if I can afford it, then maybe I will wilt under pressure. Thats obviously a long way away but

No, the doctors wouldn't care. Many have very flash cars. I think I'm more subdued with my outward sign of making alot of cash from making people better. Except I have a problem with expensive clothing!!! I blame my wife for that, she got me started on all this high end fashion!!!

Yes, we have foxtel IQ, I would try and host it on the net but I think it's impossible to tranfers from the actually box to my computer. Which is a bugger! It was only for a quick 10 seconds and I was really on screen. Still, being on tv is being on tv

I so wish I was there to see. How long did your conversation with that idiot last?

I wasn't into expensive clothing until I went to try on some Hugo Boss suits and shirts. I was very cynical before, I thought all clothings are the same but then I saw the results myself, and now I am starting to develope an addiction for them as well.

This is very interesting, because you just opened up a topic for discussion amongst myself and my friends that I have brought up before. Do salespeople at car shows treat you differently? I feel, that at car shows, the salespeople tend to view everyone as less than a tire kicker. No one comes to a car show dressed up in a suit unless they have to, or they are coming from work or etc.

Car shows are family friendly, and most people go to enjoy not just the viewing but the atmosphere. I have longed regarded the salespeople on the floor as being very dense and incompetent when it comes to the vehicle I inquire about, or other. Few times I have come across genuine salespeople who know that a car show is not the showroom floor. People go to get a better clarification on what vehicle they would purchase, and compare cars. No transactions are being made.
