***Mühldorfer Classic Car Show (Part 1)*** (56K Warning)

There was a car show in Mühldorf last Sunday. I took over 650 pictures and I will post them in batches of around 40 pictures per thread. I'll post Part I today and Part II tomorrow since I've had a long hard day in Munich and need to take a break. Enjoy the pics.

Classic BMW 1602's or 2002's. I always confuse these...

An Opel Kapitän, from the days when Opel's were still considered premium.

Classic Volvo 140 or 240 series and a lovely Opel Manta A.

Fiat Topolino C with 16-horsepower. My father had an NSU-Fiat Topolino A with 13-horsepower as his first car. Guess what? My father's Fiat Topolino was at this same show!!! Pictures of that car in Part 3...

Chevrolet Pickup Truck

All I saw was the Plymouth writing upfront. The rear or sides had no identification whatsoever. What Plymouth is this?

Chrysler 300. Not sure if it's an A, B, C, D, E etc.

Opel Rekord

Two of my favorite Mercedes cars next to each other! An S123 estate and a W116 450SE S-Class! Love the W116 S-Class!

BMW 700. 700cc 2-cylinder engine with around 45-horsepower. After my father sold his Fiat Topolino, he bought a used BMW 700 but had the engine tuned to about 55-60-horsepower. Sadly this careless tuning affected the reliability of the engine and the car broke down at least once a week! LOL

1966 Pontiac Parisienne. Beautiful. My mother's father worked for GM and he had a 1967 Parisienne in white.

Pontiac Parisienne and a VW Thing next to it.

Dodge Charger. I am guessing this is an early 1960s version, right?

Chevrolet Bel Air

Iso Rivolta, a car from Italy. Not sure what this one was called though. All I know is that it's an Iso Rivolta.

Ford Thunderbird

Anyone know the car on the right???

This is a pre-World War II Mercedes-Benz. My best guess is that this is a variant of the W136 170V models.

Classic Renault T4. She may be ugly, but she's a legend.

Opel Olympia, I would guess...

Audi 100S Coupe and Opel Commodore. Love the Audi, beautiful.

Mercedes-Benz W115 220D with 60-horsepower as used by the Bavarian government.

Mercedes W113 Pagoda SL with a Lloyd next to it. Lloyd was a German carmaker that made light and cheap cars out of a type of plastic or hardened leather after World War II.

Mercedes-Benz R107 SL and Porsche 911

Opel Manta B

Opel GT and a Mercedes 280SE Coupe.

Citroen 2CV and other historical cars.

Another Iso Rivolta. I found two Iso Rivolta's at the show. Very rare cars. Surprised even two showed up here!

END OF PART I

Iso Rivolta is a rare sighting. As far as I remember it was designed by Bizzarrini.

Opel GT is still an interesting design after so many years. Great pictures, Karma well deserved.

A 1970 Fury Sport Suburban, I'd say.

Just 300, the letter series cars of the time were 2-doors.

1966-1967 model.

This is a bit confusing. Iso didn't have that many models, but it doesn't look like a Grifo or a Lele... interestingly, one of their most successful models is better known as a BMW. That's of course the Isetta.

I'm guessing it's a 1950's Mercury...

MB doesn't stand for Mercedes-Benz, it stands for the town this guy is from which is Miesbach.

Awesome pictures Wimmer!

It's pretty clear that in the 1950-60's American cars where the design leaders. That's definitly not the case today...
