Vote for your favorite C-Class.
W201: 1982-1993
W202: 1993-2000
W203: 2000-200X
My vote goes to the W202. I love the 190-Series and the facelifted W203 (not the original), but the W202 just has that classy 1980s Benz look mixed with some styling elements form the early 1990s. It's also one of the last proper MB's before quality went downhill. Thankfully, it's going back up again. | | | | | Global Moderator

Nice poll,
The W202 is my favourite C-Class model, still a great looking vehicle in my opinion.
On a W202 note, my dad test drove a C43 back in 2001, in fact he was going to buy it, but he didn't | | | | | GCZ's High Court

W202, although the mere mention of that car reminds me of the bright yellow 'Classic' trim C180 a woman in my former neighbourhood used to have... it was not a pretty sight. Luckily, she managed to crash it into a canal... (not hurting herself in the process).
The Elegance and Sport versions were much better. | | | | | Global Moderator

The deal was me and my dad were moving from the Washington State back to Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and he wasn't sure if he would buy the vehicle and take it over the border because you have to pay to take a car accross the border (it's a law to make the difference up between American and Canadian money, at least it was, now the dollars are so close)
He didn't buy it At the time he had a Toyota Camry and he took that over, he still had to pay of course, but less money that if he was to take the C43 (13% -at the time - of the orignal purchase value + an extra 7%)
When we got back to Calgary he sold the Camry and bought a 98 Lexus GS400.
Man did i want that C43 and you probably won't believe me but the dealer told us that the C43 (silver over black) was the same C43 used in the movie "Romeo Must Die", it had the damage through the paint to prove it. Might i add that film was filmed in Seattle and that's where this vehicle was | | | | | The Photo Phanatic

When I was in London, I spotted a dark purplish blue S202 C55 AMG T-Modell in RHD: there was only ever one RHD C55 AMG T-Modell made. I spotted a 1/1 car!
I know I have a picture of it somewhere online, most likely on Imagestation, but I am too lazy to look through an album with over 4,000 pictures in it. | | | | | Me for President
