wow i just found something wrong with these PS shots..
i really dont like those side mirrors..
mb should go on like they have with the blinkers as a stripe in the mirrors..
and not up top like that.. it looks wierd to me..

Nice,very nice..but i believe the final model will get the pointed grill according to those test mules,with which I'm very pleased..

I like the PS's a lot. The rear is the most appealing to me for some reason. But I agree with you TA, those side mirror lights aren't great looking.

wow, this looks more like a baby cl than a baby s. the front and rear are so much like the new CL.

Looks good. A C-Class with an AMG Package would look very nice. As many people have mentioned previously, the proportions of this car are absolutely spot-on - short front overhang, squat and solid over it's wheels. It's all very nice.

I must add though, the front headlights (I know they're not official, but just an observation) bear more than a passing resemblence to the Holden Statesman/Caprice.

That looks really good, I like the whole design.. The front end is very S-Class like while the rear reminds me of the new CL a lot. Looks like this new C has grown a bit in size,

The article is saying the C63 will use the huge 6.2liter V8 with a reported 450hp.
I posted this news a while back. I hope MB sticks to the task. That engine seems really huge for such a small car.

Hay, did anyone else notice the front hood cutout? seems it cuts right into the fender, unusual for an MB.

Yeah I noticed that about the hood. I'm betting this was done for some type of pop-up safety system for the hood for Euro pedestrian safety regs. I've never seen a MB hood overlap like that either. The CL's hood is a different design too.

As you may have noticed, problems with our internet connection have prevented us from posting any stories this delightful November morning. It appears, however, that we're back online, so I will now attempt to quickly cover anything I've missed today.

First up are spy photos published by Winding Road which depict the undisguised back end of the upcoming 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Revealed for the first time are the new model's tail lights, bumper, trunk and both doors; and I have to say, I think it looks pretty damn good.
