I don't like the interior AT ALL either. Exterior looks fine, but that nav screen is just beyond horrible imho...

I don't mind the interior at all, if it has decent materials. Still, I suppose the nav screen could be deeper set into the hood, for the sake of bright-light visibility.

I hope they've got an electronic parking brake and none of this foot-operated business anymore. If VW's Passat can have one, MB's C-class can have one.

Plus, maybe the steering wheels are like Audi's (in A6 at least) optional sports or normal steering wheels. I hope so - I wouldn't want to have to buy an AMG model to get that wheel. The 4-spoke one looks a little clumsy.

I guess the spy photos are going to be endless from now unit about Feb 2007 when that first press release is issued! Just like the W221 we'll see each and every angle of this car before all is shown! Oh well let the wait begin. I do wonder though the front/grille treatment will be just like the new CL? Is Mercedes getting rid of their traditional sedan grille for this car?

The interior seems to have too much plastics, sort of like BMW's gaff with the pre-FL X3.

A 3.0-liter diesel is planned, as is an iDrive-like operating device similar to that found in the new S-Class. An all-wheel-drive system will be available.

The official launch of the new C-Class is expected for the Geneva Motor Show in 2007, with sales starting shortly thereafter. The wagon version will arrive at least six months after the sedan.

It won't look like that. For example just compare the rear lights or the side-view mirrors with all the spy photos. Also the edge of the engine cover starts at a different point in the front lights.
