I don't think I am by that statement??? I just don't see MB really building a 3-Series beater in outright sport.

I still think the mirrors are HUGE. They should've given it the facelifted E-Class' mirrors.

The huge mirrors is a trick to optically reduce the hight of the roofline. This is on of the trikcks designers use to make the cars look more dynamic and sporty, like the side crease the reduces the hight of the vehicle and the pronounced fenders that optically increase the the size of the wheels.

The last I heard was that the saloon (sedan) will be available march 07 so I think your looking at geneva 07.

Yes the sedan will be presented in Geneva (March 07) and the T-model in Frankfurt (Sep 07)

In these latest spy pictures, you can easily see the shape of the car and the lights, it looks good!

Quite a long time though till it's going to be unveiled!
