To me it is, and I am dead serious. The first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the new C headlights was the Opel Astra GTC:

IMO it looks very very promising , front headlamps lare very similar to that of the B-class , loving it .

So far it definitely looks like its got a lot of w221 s-class influence. But I also see a lot of OLD benz in it w140 and w202 (is that the right code for the old c-class lol). It looks really solid and very very conservative. And i'm not sure thats what this class is meant to be and what the buyers want? BMW and Lexus have nailed the sporty/dynamic/elegance thing perfectly, whereas this new C-class looks like its thrown all sports/youth appeal out of the window. Hopefully the camo is hiding some of the dynamism and edge. I hope it doesn't end up looking like the boring grandpa of the group.

Yeah you're right, I definitely see a lot of W202 C-Class in that car, just a little more futuristic. It looks bigger than the W203 too. And the lights seem to be inspired from the B-Class, not the Opel Astra.

The headlight s design is derivated from the old CL not the Opel Astra

I'm sure that the headlights will come out well and it will probably not have this eyebrow BMW 5:er thing going on.
