True, but that version might be a variant of the higher rev version in the SLK350, not exactly what you want in your E350. I'm not sure though, Mercedes' 3.5L V6 is literally all over the place now.

True but what i dont get is if the engine pulls nicely in the [heavy] SL then why not the C and E sedans? High revving or not (a certain 335i comes to mind) I would say that version is clearly the pick of ALL the V6's MB have going on right now.

I agree. I would have made the 315hp version standard across the board in every "350" model sold around the world, or at the very least in the U.S. market. If they can get 315hp out of the 3.5L V6 without DI they should get about 325-335 with DI. Mercedes usually tries to leapfrog the competition in hp when they have to come from way behind like they are now with a mere 268/272hp.

This 3.5 L V6 CGI engine was already launched in the E-class 2 months ago. Why is MB making such a fuss about it in the C-class.

lol they're not. They just saying its available now in the C now. The engine actually launched earlier than that, in the CLS.

I assumed the one in the CLS was using the 1st generation fuel injectors, but I realised I am wrong since the engine in the CLS produce exactly the same amount of power as the one in the C-class.

But the engine in the CLS wasn't under BlueEFFICIENCY right? this new one has the same power figures but cleaner?
