I didn't think about that. I would swap it in an instant.
The automatic Benz 350 does 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. The automatic Bimmer 335i does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds. Not bad for a 30 horsepower difference.
Hardly enough of a difference to cause potential customers to shun the Benz. This horsepower argument is stupid and probably has no existence outside of this forum.
Would MB sell more 350s if they had the same horsepower on paper as the Bimmer? I doubt it.
These top of the line models aren't the most popular anyway. The majority of 3ers and Cs that I see are all base models.
