My buddy is looking at the same 2 cars atm. Well let me tell you that A4 is the right choice. Where we live Toronto, there are more White C300's then base civic's or cobalts. Its truely amazing. On one lunch break I counted 8 white ones. I did not include other colors. This can be done almost everyday reliably. The MB has a been there done that look. Every MB looks the same and boring. But the new C is a huge step up from the last gen. If you want a MB get the S550. A4 has the better engine and interior/exterior. Plus if your an engineer and work for G.E. you get 7% suppler's discount at Audi. = no brainer. We found that out yesterday after we test drove the C300 and A4 and talked numbers with the audi salesman.

The current W204 interior is pretty solid, well-made and the materials are definitely premium. The cabin does its job and feels upscale. Don't let the dark colors and the mass of plastic in the middle console fool you. Plastic does not automatically equate to cheap. Welcome to the forums by the way. ![]()

![]() | One thing I like about MB (and BMW too for that matter), is that you never feel that underneath, you've paid for a lot of cheaper stuff from a the parts bin. Whereas Audi and Lexus - well, nice Golfs and Camrys. They have a good parts bin, but its still a multi brand bin - same engine in the cheapest to the top. At least my MB has its own engine, tranny etc and I paid partly for the pleasure of owning a car from an independent car maker. Just my 2c worth. |

![]() | http://www.germancarzone.com/pit-gen...r-quality.html (The MYTH about the Audi A4 B8's interior quality...) Just a reminder ![]() Thankfully the Q5's i've looked at felt clearly superior to the A4s on the showroom floor, so at least it doesn't seem like a completely downward spiral for Audi. ![]() |

Well, "it just doesn't look tight" for the audi analysis isn't gonna cut it for me. The A4 we looked at had real aluminum everywhere.

![]() | That stuff all over the dash, behind the steering wheel etc, is not real aluminium on any of the A4's i've seen. I know there are trim upgrades where you bits of wood or aluminium here and there, but that other fake stuff still remains in place. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My choice is a facelifted E90 but between A4 and C-class my vote goes the C-class with AMG package, its a real stunner and beats the crap out of new E-class and S-class in terms of design.A4 looks good too but not like c-class.
