This is getting a bit silly, both cars will be amazing.

I have owned E46 m3 smg, still own C32 amg and a remapped 335d and a few others.

I had the choice of both cars and ive chosen the C63.

It will be delivered approx April 2008.

Ive chosen it because it has an automatic transmission.
IMO looks twice the car of the M3 -( both presence and pricewise)
It for me will be easier to drive fast in a straightline.
IMO the C63 engine note is more gutteral than the M3
I prefer more torque in my engines
I want 4 doors and think the M3 Saloon looks shite

Genuinely i cant sleep through dreaming about getting the car and i havent even driven it yet. I have test drived the E92 M3 and it does NOT feel special enough for a 55000 GBP investment.

I couldnt give a flying Fu^k about fuel consumption for that i have the 335d.

This car will be my weekend car and to meet staff/customers at important meetings.

It is always a personnal choice buying a car and i feel whichever car people buy then fair play to them.

But i feel my money is better spent in the C63.

I prefer the C63, too. never drove it though...but it seems to have more presence, more personnality than the M3.
