Re: [scans] AMS: Mercedes C-Class BUYING ADVICE

for Real world, it is only enough C 180-C200 K and C220 CDI

because the others are only in our dreams not real word and not needing too much about them

thank you

Re: [scans] AMS: Mercedes C-Class BUYING ADVICE

C 180 Kompressor

+ satisfactory perfomance, low-vibration engine, moderate fuel consumption, good price
- gentle "passage", grumpy at higher revs, manual transmission is imprecise, sparly equipped

C 200 Kompressor

+ noticeable better elasticity then the C 180, though the fuel consumption isn't higher, lower volume inside the car, very good running costs
- grumpy at higher revs, in combination with the automatic transmission: bad respond at the accelerator pedal

C 220 CDI

+ very good expansion of the power, powerful and cultivated engine, nice and smooth automatic, the most efficient C-Class (price, running costs)
- cold engine and under full throttle grumpy, not the best fuel enconomy

this explanations new to me !
1-it agrees that Kompressor engines are grumpy at higher revs -c180 and c200 same - What does it mean ' Grumpy ' clearly ?

2- C200 has noticable better elacticity than c180 because of HP C200= 184 > C180=156 ?

C220 cdi is good but not best it say true not too much fuel economy and city drivers drive always with cold engines c220 cdi is only for urban-country ?

thanks for translation

Re: [scans] AMS: Mercedes C-Class BUYING ADVICE

I just found my favourite C-Class design:

black, Elegance version with AMG-sportpackage. I've never seen this car in reality...but it have to look great.

...and I noticed, that I forgot to scan a site of the AMS! I will hand it in later (tomorrow)! On that side, AMS list the costs for the different types of C-Class. I think, this is for some of you, the most interesting information!!
