Probably wasn't a big market for it. I hardly ever see wagons on the road...except for Subaru (which I hate more than any car company on earth). Usually if we want a wagon, we will get a Mini Suv like the Toyota Rav4, EX35 Infiniti or something.

True...crossovers have really taken a bite out of the wagon market, which is a shame because many wagons are tastefully styled and have a lot to offer.
