That thing is simply amazing... back to the drawing boards BMW...
Although I really feel that Mercedes Benz have (X100) better photographers.. the BMW images always suck to me e.g. those M3 ones for example
In real life it would still go hands down to the Mercedes but a BMW M3 in real life with space grey looks alot more aggresive... stop making excuses you no your now disappointed with the M3.........

Yupp the M3 does indeed look much better IRL, BMW press shots are both good and bad, varies alot. Competition has never been this fierce amongs tree german cars.
Damn, that is one aggressive looking car and I was expecting the usual AMG cut and paste thingy - but it looks way more aggressive than the M3. Now AMG will hopefully offer another transmission other than the usual slush box and I will jump ship.
Mated to the engine is AMG's Speedshift Plus 7G-TRONIC transmission. Steering wheel shift paddles and three driving modes - Sport, Comfort and Manual - are standard. The newcomer will be the first AMG car to feature an automatic throttle-blipping function during downshifts. Mercedes say this enhances the driver's emotional experience, but also gives almost completely jolt-free downshifting.
It's also the first AMG to feature a three-stage stability control system, which allows the driver to pre-set the vehicle's dynamic thresholds. Put simply, this means he can predetermine at which point during an extreme maneuver he or she wants the stability control to activate.

Not liking this above picture as much as the others... The front looks weird in this image... Almost looks disproportioned... and the bonnet and headlights don't work for me from this angle
Should be a fierce battle between all the upcoming super sedans...

On second thoughts, heck with the transmission, I might have to buy it to just look at it every morning - it will be like having the DTM race car in your garage.
