While I can understand your frustration, you should not take what happened as a conflict of interest, etc.

You can be sure that had there been a Moderator online at which time this happened, Merc1's thread would have been closed. However, it appears that no Moderators were online and as a result, members continued to post in this thread rather than yours. It's happened before, but what usuallyhappens is that we'd merge this thread with the original - but as you're aware, this did not happen.

As a member of the Moderator team - I apologize.

Somehow I don't agree with you here. It's probably more of a simple mistake. If anyone does have that type of atitude then they really shouldn't be here. This is a public forum when we share opinions and thoughts. While we might sometimes disagree with other ppl's comments, we should still respect what they've written.

At the end of the day, it your choice whether you want to leave but I'm sure everyone here wants you to stay.

They are and they love Mercedes-Benz, but they've never been crazy about the C-Class. They've raved about the GL, S, CL, SL, E (calling it the perfect sedan), but the C they've never been fans of.

Deutsch, i can understand you being a little angry if your thread was deleted and it wasn't a repost. I was online yesterday evening to 02:00am and here i apologize for not seeing that issue... I didn't saw your thread, but i also didn't delete it.

Furthermore since i consider you a smart guy and valuable member, i'd exepct from you after noticing a mistake of moderators, to kindly PM any of us and point the mistake. Be sure that any of us would apologize to you and fix the problem immediately and there wouldn't be any need for this:

I, like Bruce, apologize for this inconvinience that occured by someone's mistake and honestly want you to continue your contribution at these boards. You're a great member and i wish you stay. But if you don't want, it's your choice and i wish you all the best.
