Well the car might be lighter and stiffer than the competition. They have probably seen that the RS4 is raw and that the M3 will proabably be raw too. Releasing a C63 is as I mentioned before a way of keeping the C63 in the game until the new models. Manufacturers tend to do this type of stuff in order to disturb for the competitiors new model. Just the same way BMW released the 7er face lift just in time for the new S-class launch.

if the car comes lets hope the price is reasonable as well

I can't think of any Mercedes AMG model that's lighter and stiffer than the competition and this one won't probably be the exception.

Given the lower weight and smaller size of the C class this car will be far sportier than any other AMG model.

I do actually beleive that MB has made the car pretty good. The unpainted carbonfibre wing suggests that the car is pretty raw. They have probably made a lot of tweeks in order for the car to cope with all that torque and power. This will prabably be the sportiest AMG car on the market.

Yep i think it will be a pretty good performer.. even on track.. cuase if i remember right..i think the 63 engine weights less than the 55..
I hope it will have some more secrets and good stuff under the skin.. not just the bigger engine..
Maybe we will se a 7G AMG Speedshift.. that could be fun.. or maybe the rumored SMG/DSG type gearbox..

Why is everyone assuming its the new C63?
It could as well be the current engine but a updated version. Maybe a celebration, a end of a era.

First of all it has the same front bumper as the E63 and CLK63(spyshots) and it would be simply very wise to use the new engine rather than tweeking the old one.

Why not save the engine for the next C-class?
This car seem to steal the attention from the next C AMG. Im not convinced yet, it could very well be the same engine as E55.
