Yes, if that is the C&D review they're referring too, it actually had a manual trans, not the automatic.

The beauty of this is that if the old C350 did that, then the new one should theoretically be faster with less weight and an improved (tuned) 7Gtronic.

Seriously, the 268-hp output seems to be adequate for the moment.

It's not, the frame is a few kilos lighter but the fully assembeled car is around 100 pounds heavier I think.

I think the review also meant the 335i with 300 HP and not the 330i as stated.

The first press releases emphasized that fact that the W204 is 8 kg lighter. Nothing to get excited about, but it "helps" I suppose.

I can also picture the W204 C350 getting different gear ratios for improved acceleration, something Mercedes has always done with their US-spec models.
